4 days Morocco Tour from Tangier to Sahara Desert

Departure from Tangier to Fez via the mountains of the Rif through the city of Tetouan to enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains to Chefchaouan, one of the beautiful villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky art and craft shops, rooftop restaurants, and cafes where you will have lunch before continuing our way to Fez where we will spend the night in a riad.

After breakfast, departure to Ifrane and Azrou through the mountains of the Middle Atlas., On the way, we will stop at the cedar forest to see the monkeys. then we pass by the neck of Tizi Ntalghamt until Midelt and along the magnificent Gorges du Ziz dug in the volcanic rock, you will discover views on the plateau of the Middle Atlas and changing landscapes to discover the desert with the approach of Errachidia. After lunch, we will continue our journey through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, once in Merzouga Sahara desert where we ride camels to reach desert camp. We will experience Berber music in the desert and we stay overnight in the desert camp. We may watch the sunset in the dunes in the Merzouga desert.

Early in the morning we will watch the sunrise in the desert of Merzouga and then we ride camels back to the village of Merzouga and after breakfast, we leave for Dades Gorges. We drive towards Tinghir, and then we explore Todra gorges which is the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here we may hike within the amazing valley and after lunch, we will continue our private Morocco tour passing the Dades valley. Here we stay in Dades gorges in traditional local riad/hotel with dinner and breakfast.

After breakfast, we will cross the Dades valley towards Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the valley of Dades, the road of a thousand Kasbahs, offers many opportunities for photos. We will visit the Valley of Roses and the village of Skoura, then continue to Ouarzazat, lunch is at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi nTichka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2260 m, on the mountains from the High Atlas, we will stop to admire the impressive views and visit the argan oil cooperative. We will arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
