Day 1: Casablanca Airport – Rabat

Meet and welcome at Casablanca airport, we will drive to Casablanca then to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Casablanca, you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest one outside of Mecca, and experience the coastal Cornish seaside. Afterward, we will leave for Rabat. Here you will see the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before you check in to your Riad/Hotel in the Medina.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, we will start traveling to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous gate Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to the Roman city of Volubilis, where you will get a chance to see the wonderfully preserved original mosaics, Roman Road, and city layout. As you travel through the Moroccan countryside we will pass by the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for a photo opportunity. You’ll get to Fes late in the afternoon where we will spend the night.

Day 3: FES SIGHTSEEING TOUR

After breakfast, we will begin our visit to “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. We will tour the Medina with its “souks” (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine Mosque, and the University. We will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”. Lunch will be held at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch, we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes

After breakfast, we depart to the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos. After that, you will head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talgghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel where you will spend the night. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel.

Day 5:Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad family – Tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes 4×4

After breakfast in your riad, you can take a little exploration of the local area before the start of your camel ride; You will visit the Gnawa people,  later, we will drive in the desert area to meet nomad families to explore their way of life. Today our lunch will be a traditional Berber meal. you will have the option also to visit the old city of Rissani – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Rissani is surrounded by about 360 ksars and has a big souk, held three times a week. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Tombouctou in Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables, and clothes. Drive back to the village of Merzouga. In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel-man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in morocco. Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Canyon

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dunes in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. We depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrive at Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot. Later on, we drive to Boumalne du Dades and stopping for a panoramic view of Dades valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip .we will stop at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah for lunch, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the beginning of the XXth Century, it used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech., now the kasbah is one of the UNESCO heritage sites. after that, we will shift the way to cross high atlas mountains full of panoramic views and attractive Berber villages all along the way till Marrakech. overnight in a fancy riad in the medina.

Day 8: Marrakesh City Tour

A full-day tour of Marrakech. We will visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry. Optional lunch will be in the Medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. We will enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Djemaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner, and a night at the hotel.

Day 9: Marrakesh Day Tour to Essaouira

After breakfast, we will start traveling to the coastal city of Essaouira. Getting there after about 3 hours of driving to start exploring the city. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. This “City of the Wind” attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations -including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. You will also visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil. Here they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. Lunch will be done the Moroccan way – fresh fish “cooked in order” at the fish market. In the afternoon we will travel back to Marrakech where we will spend the night.

Day 10: Return Airport Transfer

After breakfast, we will drive you to Casablanca/Marrakech airport for your flight back home. The tour ends at the airport..
