7 Days Morocco Heritage Tour from Marrakesh

Breakfast at your hotel in Marrakesh, then, departure for Rabat via Casablanca, visiting the country’s economic capital: the role of the United Nations, Avenue Mohamed V, the district of Anfa and cornice with an exterior view of the mosque Hassan II. Continuation to Rabat, visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, Hassan Tower, the Kasbah Chellah and gardens Oudaya.  Overnight in hotel in Rabat

After breakfast we head west to get to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city and most important archaeological site in Morocco. Free time to visit the area of Volubilis. Ability to take a tour with a local guide to learn more about these important ruins. After enjoying the impressive Roman remains we approach Mulay Idris, one of the most important pilgrimage centers of Morocco. It is a small town where you can meet the most interesting of the medina in less than an hour. The third stop will Meknes, the “humble” of the Four Imperial Cities of Morocco. In Meknes, you will have free time to eat and visit the most important places of the city, step into its souk or enjoy a coffee in the square (HB).

Breakfast and guided tour of Fez by the most important places of Fez visit. By entering into the streets of the medina (old city) feel that the time recedes: the guild structure is still present in the work, its narrow streets allow no other transportation than donkeys and a constant swarm of people move the labyrinthine alleys through which we were surprised neighborhoods such as Andalusians and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fez has always been associated with the study and religiosity and remains the spiritual capital of Morocco. Overnight at the hotel or Riad.

After breakfast at your hotel we will head back to Marrakesh enjoying the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains, via Beni Mellal, and through the beautiful landscape of the Middle Atlas, visit the source of Ain Asserdoune. Arrival in Marrakech. Overnight in Riad or Hotel

Full-day dedicated to the guided city tour of Marrakesh with a local guide, after breakfast departure for the historic visit of the red city, the Menara gardens, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadians and Bahia Palace, tour of the ramparts, the world heritage square “Jamaa Lafna”, the new town Gueliz, the live markets/souks in the Medina. This will be a journey full of adventure, heritage, and cultural discovery.
