Day 1: Tangier airport/port – Chefchaouen – Fes

Meet and welcome at Tangier airport/port and departure to Chefchaouen, a town founded as a secret mysterious place from which to attack the Portuguese installed on the north coast. Was totally banned from entering the village to Europeans until the arrival of the Spanish troops in 1920. Arrival in Chefchaouen and have a first contact with the city, We continue our way to Fes, Imperial City, which dates back to the eighth century. It is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco and also has the pride of hosting one of the oldest universities in the world. Afternoon free to relax and have a first contact with the city that will transport you to the past.

Day 2: Exploring Fes with local guide

After breakfast, we will begin our visit to “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. We will tour the Medina with its “souks” (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine Mosque, and the University. We will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”. Lunch will be held at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch, we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden, and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Overnight at hotel/riad.

Day 3:Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes

After breakfast we will depart to the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos. After that, you will head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talgghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel where you will spend the night. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad family – Tour of the Erg dunes 4×4

This morning after breakfast in the hotel. You will have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit a nomad family living in tents, visit Khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake “Dayte Sarji” that forms in springtime which attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga. After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel to relax. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for 1,30 to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent.  Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate

After breakfast we will return by camel to the 4x4s and head back to Erfoud. From Erfoud you set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, you will take a walk-up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. You will stay the night in Boulemane near the Dades Gorges before you cross the High Atlas Mountains. Continue our journey through the Roses valley, and the Skoura palm oasis to reach Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night in Riad or Hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakesh

Leaving Ouarzazate in the morning we will have a chance to visit Ait Benhaddou for lunch and a tour of this world heritage site. This famous 11th-century kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including the famous Gladiator. After lunch, we will start our journey back to Marrakech through Tizi-n- Tichka and reach Marrakech in late in the afternoon.

Day 7: Sightseeing Tour of Marrakech

A full-day tour of Marrakech. We will visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry. Optional lunch will be in the Medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. We will enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Djemaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner, and overnight at hotel /riad.

Day 8: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat

After breakfast, will leave Marrakech toward Casablanca ones in this 1st economic capital will visit the Hassan 2 Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the Islamic world, then continue to Rabat, visit the capital of Morocco where you can visit the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower … etc! hotel and accommodation in Rabat.

Day 9: Rabat to Tangier

Breakfast and departure to Asilah, where you can have time to walk around a beautiful white medina then continue to Tangier where the tours end.
